A long weekend should not be spent wallowing at home when you are about a 4 hrs drive away from the scenic and serene Finger lakes and the many, many state parks surrounding it. Waterfalls abound and you may just stumble onto one on a casual drive. Me and a couple of friends visited the gorgeous gorge at Watkins Glen, the massive Letchworth State Park, the unreal Seneca and Cayuga lakes and the Taughannock falls in New York over the last long weekend. Sharing some of the photographs of the breathtaking views.
The gorge at the Watkins Glen State Park
The falls in the distance and the clouds at our feet at the Letchworth State Park
The 215 feet falls of Taughannock State Park
The lower falls of Taughannock
Water has a healing quality. I know I had my share of healing over the weekend.
